Our Community Strategic Plan sets the direction for our community for the next 10 years and we want to hear from you to make sure we are on track.
The Community Strategic Plan 2035 is due for renewal by February 2025 and we invite you to share your input by taking the survey below. The survey can be completed any time up until 5:00pm 22 November 2024.
What are we doing?
We check in with our community after every election cycle to review our existing plan and to see if any changes are required. This process makes sure the plan reflects the community's long-term aspirations.
Why are we doing this?
This plan sets out our community’s long-term vision and the outcomes that matter to the community. The plan is used by Council and other agencies to inform planning for our Shire's future.
This sets a clear direction for the incoming Councillors by providing the overarching strategy on what is important to the community.
How will my feedback be used?
Your feedback will help shape our future, through this plan that will set our path for 2025-2035. We include priorities from the Community Strategic Plan when we develop actions in annual plans. Some actions are Council’s responsibility to deliver. For other actions, we work with community, State and Federal Government stakeholders to support their delivery of outcomes.
