Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Local Advisory Committees closed on Sunday, 14 September 2025.

Raise your hand and express interest in joining one of Liverpool Plains Shire Council's Local Advisory Committees!

Council delivers a wide range of services, programs, projects and events to benefit our community and make the Liverpool Plains Shire a great place to live, work, visit and invest. Our work is guided by strategies, plans and policies, and community input into these is critical to ensuring our services, programs, projects and events are effective and fit-for-purpose.

To support us in better engaging with our community, Council is proposing to establish Local Advisory Committees for the remainder of the current 2024-28 Council term. Our Local Advisory Committees will provide us with a forum to engage and communicate with our community in developing and implementing our services, programs, projects and events.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from members of our community to join the following locality-based Local Advisory Committees:

  • Blackville,
  • Currabubula,
  • Premer,
  • Quirindi,
  • Spring Ridge,
  • Wallabadah,
  • Warrah,
  • Willow Tree, and
  • Werris Creek.

Further information on the role and responsibilities of our proposed Local Advisory Committees is set out in the draft Local Advisory Committee Terms of Reference in the Document Library. The Terms of Reference provide an overview of the responsibilities of the Local Advisory Committees, as well as how the Local Advisory Committees will operate.

Please note that membership of a Local Advisory Committee is voluntary and volunteers are not remunerated for their time or meeting attendance.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Local Advisory Committees are open from Friday, 25 June and extended to Sunday, 14 September 2025.
